NET IS GOOD

Net is Good: the beauty of the net

Yes, because it is nice to work in the classroom, or in individual coaching sessions and bring ourselves, each with their own skills, with their way of being, with their experiences, with their own way of interpreting this profession; but it is equally nice to be able to compare oneself within the Modus Maris team and question oneself, in order to always grow and improve, to study together, to share a style that, without overriding individual personalities, is recognizable by our customers as the ticket to visit of Modus Maris.

This is the beauty of networking. This is Net is Good.

2023: ON THE WAVES OF COMPLEXITY

net isi good group 2023

Complexity, a word that is increasingly spoken to talk about and describe our time. This year, Net is Good wanted to dedicate the days of meeting and discussion that were held at the beginning of September at a historic and romantic villa nestled on the hills of Pontassieve, just outside Florence, to this concept.

The moment, as usual, witnessed meeting with long-standing friendships and also meeting new people who joined the working group. We shared fun moments of conviviality, and we also (and above all) dedicated our days to analyzing the various meanings that complexity takes on in our lives, both personal and professional.

We started from the most common and obvious consequences of complexity: variety. Variety of ideas, perceptions, points of view, beliefs; we talked about the varieties among people, as within every other life form in nature. From there, we traced back to the manifestations of complexity within organizations. We experienced the complexity in the group's performance, until, in closing, we asked ourselves what the profound meaning of complexity is.

On this journey we were guided by some colleagues from the Modus Maris crew, and by some guests who guided us in particularly meaningful experiences: the singing teachers Valentina Grigò e Pamela Larese, and the teacher Marinella De Simone, president and scientific director of the Complexity Institute.

In short, four dense and intense days, both on a cognitive and physical and emotional level. It was the result of a lot of commitment and dedication of the internal project and organization group to which the thanks of the entire Modus Maris crew go.

Now, the curtain is closing on this edition and reflection is already starting on what will happen at the end of summer 2024. There are many ideas and the enthusiasm does not suffer any setbacks.

See you next time Net is Good!

The fifth edition of Net is Good will start next September.

Modus Maris believes in the power of the Network and in the beauty of cooperation even between freelancers, under the aegis of professional ethics and correctness. Net is Good is the desire to meet colleagues and nurture a network of mutual enrichment through which:

• have the opportunity to activate new collaborations;
• discuss specific topics;
• collect the opinion of colleagues;
• generate ideas and support each other;
• create a context of peer supervision.

This year we will return to Tuscany, as happened during our first Net is Good. This time the appointment is at:

Villa D'Arte Agriresort
Via Aretina, 90
50065 Pontassieve (FI)

YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW: FROM THE PAST TO THE POSSIBLE FUTURES

The evolution has been strong and tangible. Perhaps the experience of recent years has also led us to considerations that have gone beyond the professional aspect that unites us. The meeting took place near Perugia, in a location full of character and charm.

The immersion in the past took place through art, considered a stimulus, tool and uplifting path of new energies.

The present has been explored through contact and relationship with nature, capable of bringing the person into the "here and now"; to keep it steady, in a conscious balance, albeit in complex contexts.

The future was frescoed by a guest: Francesco Brunori, Skopìa researcher and consultant. He presented us with a vision in the making, involving the group in an ideal laboratory for the future.

The journey of those days, through different temporal dimensions, led us to a personal synthesis of balance and planning of our professional future.

The appointment was set for August 2022 in which, in a natural evolution of the issues addressed, the great protagonist will be time.

FROM THE HEART TO THE MIND: THE ROAD OF METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS OF TRAINING

It was beautiful and exciting to meet again, with new friends on board, lulled by the sweetness of the Marche hills, to continue a speech started a year earlier and embellish it with new contributions, insights, experiences and experiments that have led to important considerations to continue exploring. the magical job of the trainer.

They were intense days, full of emotional and intellectual stimuli; days in which we got involved by presenting aspects of us that went beyond the known deriving from professional relationships. They were also convivial and fun days, in which the trust and knowledge of the group strengthened.

The greetings were a goodbye to 2021, to open a new window on the kaleidoscopic world of education.

2019

TRAINING: TOOLS, METHODS AND EXPERIENCES IN COMPARISON

It was the "start up" of this community. It began without fanfare, but immediately on the right foot, in a weekend of meeting and sharing, near Pisa.

The group has known and recognized itself, has discovered shared values and complementary skills, has enriched itself with the contributions and experiences of all and has created added value for each one and for the community as a whole.

An important guest: Stephan Van Der Vat, the CEO of Management Drives, who presented this powerful tool, useful for the growth of people and company teams.

The event ended with the firm determination not to make that weekend an end in itself. And now, we can say that we have kept the promise we made to ourselves.

2022: THE TIME OF TIME

Spends time. And time was the great protagonist of this Net is Good. A meeting that began in January, with a more contained experience, shared online and continued in presence in this sunny end of August, within the walls full of charm of an ancient farmhouse nestled between the hills and the sea of Sicily, almost at the foot of Etna.

It was time to find old and new friends to explore the countless facets of time together, starting from the historical and philosophical foundations, delving into its psychological meanings, discovering its natural laws and arriving at a scientific interpretation.

Time has also let itself live through the practice of tai chi chuan, under the guidance of Paolo Consoli who, while refusing the label of Maestro, had precisely this role for the group: he led us into a dimension of slowness and awareness of body and presence.
The great guest was Gaspare Balsamo, actor and theater director, but above all a "cuntist".

We have lived the time of storytelling, an art linked to the tradition of cultural heritage transferred through the story. He did it by accompanying everyone in the magic of the Sicilian cunto, where time stops in an elusive and magical dimension, as only fairy tales can do, to tell stories, legends and myths.

We were all the real protagonists, with our interventions and our contributions, with the planning works, with the debates and convivial moments, with the lives we shared and the ideas for the future that we brought to light.

Net is Good is always magic; we lived it with enthusiasm and, now that it's over, all we have to do is take everything he gave us with us and start imagining the new 2023 edition!
